Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi is warning that identity politics and political correctness are destroying Australia and the only way to stop that happening is to vote “1” for Australian Conservatives Senate candidates.
A recent example of this was the bipartisan Senate censure motion against Queensland Senator Fraser Anning over the comments he made about the Christchurch mosque massacre.
While the last paragraph of the motion delivered a censure against Senator Anning, the preamble, agreed to by both major parties was riddled with politically correct virtue signalling about “hate speech”.
Senator Bernardi told Sky News this morning that while he thought Senator Anning deserved a censure, the politically correct pile on is a pernicious and destructive force in Australia.
