IGA supermarkets announce its latest store opening, IGA Marulan, located at Marulan Village Centre (69-73 George St, Marulan). The store will be having its official GRAND OPENING on Saturday, 23 March 2019.
The opening will take place at 11:30 am and will be followed by a day of family orientated fun-filled activities and offers, such as HUGE in-store specials, a free sausage sizzle, food tasting, face painting, show and shine car show, Easter Bunny visit, plenty of giveaways and will conclude with a short ceremony and ribbon cutting by local John Feltham and Angus Taylor (Member for Hume) at 2 pm.
The Marulan IGA + Liquor is the latest addition to the nationwide IGA network. IGA maintains a focus at each location of community and independence, with each store having its own unique story. The store takes its place in the new Marulan Village Centre, which also houses several other speciality locations, available for commercial leasing

The new supermarket is the first of its kind in the Marulan area and will be a big boost to the local community, with residents previously having to travel over 60km round-trip to their nearest supermarket. It is also anticipated that IGA Marulan will draw in people from the surrounding rural areas, generating additional business for itself and other local businesses.
