Police have seized illegal firearms, weapons, illicit drugs and cash following a search at Modbury North.
Just after 5pm yesterday (Wednesday 14 August) police attended the property and conducted a search uncovering two pistols (one loaded) and a revolver secreted within a vehicle.
A further search located 40 grams of methamphetamine, 5 grams of cocaine, a pill press, firearm silencers, tasers and a pistol cross bow along with almost $14,000 in cash.
A 27-year-old man from Modbury North was arrested and charged with two counts of trafficking a controlled drug, numerous firearm and weapon offences and the possession of prescribed equipment.
He has been refused bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court later today.
