As Coronavirus COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the globe, Council is taking the necessary steps to protect our staff and community and limit the effects of the coronavirus.
There will be significant disruptions to Nillumbik Shire Council services, events and programs.
We have made the decision to cancel all Council-run events until the 31 March 2020, with a strong likelihood cancellations will continue after this date.
Council services have also been affected and some facilities have closed.
Mayor Karen Egan said the health and wellbeing of the community was Council’s priority.
“Council is committed to reducing the risk of the coronavirus spreading and we appreciate your patience during this difficult time,” Cr Egan said.
“We will continue to monitor and update you as the situation changes over coming days and weeks.”
