Police are investigating a serious crash at Henley Beach overnight.
About 11.10pm Sunday 4 February police were called to Henley Beach after reports of an altercation between a group of people outside a licenced premises. Several of the involved parties allegedly left the area on motorcycles heading north on Seaview Road.
A short time later, about 11.20pm, emergency services were diverted to the intersection of Seaview Road and Grange Road after a Nissan X-trail that had been travelling north collided with three motorcycles.
Two of the riders, a 20-year-old Davoren Park man, and 20-year-old Elizabeth Grove man, were taken to the RAH for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries. A third rider left the scene on foot and has not yet been located.
The driver of the car, a 41-year-old Clearview man, was arrested at the scene but taken to hospital as a precaution. He is expected to be charged with serious offences including acts to endanger life.
The passenger in the car, a 20-year-old Clearview man, was also arrested and has been charged with fight in a public place.
Western district detectives and Crime Scene officers attended the scene and are investigating the circumstances that led up to the crash.
