The hybrid conference, to be held under COVID-safe protocols in Melbourne and online, is to be hosted by the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) on behalf of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine (IFEM) and will examine the conference theme, ‘Better care for a better world’.
With healthcare and humanitarian emergencies having been dominant global themes of recent years, ICEM 2022 will bring together experts from around the world, as they contemplate the big issues, themes and challenges in relation to delivering and improving emergency care on an international scale.
The conference will host a wide variety of global speakers, showcasing clinical and experiential topics, including research, trauma, paediatrics, toxicology, ultrasound aged care, leadership, pandemic and disaster impacts, equity, climate challenges, innovation and technology and much more.
