Council advises that the raw water supply in the area of Tarana is reduced or unavailable due to adverse weather conditions damaging access to Infrastructure.
Residents in the area of Tarana may experience a reduction in water pressure or no water as Council has not been able to access the pumping infrastructure to refill the raw water reservoir. Adverse weather conditions have caused access issues to the infrastructure which Council are investigating what repairs are necessary to restore.
Council cannot advise a time for the completion of repairs, but will aim to minimize the period of disruption. Council wishes to remind the residents and property owners connected to the Tarana raw water system that the system is a raw water supply not to be used for potable or domestic purposes as the water does not undergo any treatment.
