A man has been arrested after he allegedly stole copper wiring from a storage depot at Kurralta Park overnight.
Just after 3.30am on Thursday 5 September, police were called to a storage depot on Clifford Avenue after a man was seen on security cameras to jump a fence.
Netley patrols were quick to respond and set up cordons around the depot, meanwhile the intruder was seen to throw several items over the high wire fence.
On patrols arrival they located a man fitting the description of the suspect just around the corner from the depot on Moss Avenue.
Police Dog Jax was called in to assist, locating two large spools of copper wiring in long grass in a neighbouring park, that had been thrown over the fence by the suspect.
A 23-year-old man from Kurralta Park was arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass and theft, he has been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
