Bairnsdale Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are continuing to investigate after a man performed a lewd act outside a school in Bairnsdale last month.
It is understood a man in a dark coloured Ford Falcon sedan pulled over on Grant Street about 1.50pm on Tuesday, 16 May.
Police were told the man made eye-contact with an 11-year-old student before exposing himself and engaging in sexual activity.
He fled the scene in the vehicle towards the Bairnsdale town centre.
Investigators have released a face-fit image of a man they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries, as well as images of a vehicle.
He is described as Caucasian with a bald head and blue eyes.
