Investigation Into Serious Crash In Peron

Rockingham Detectives are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Peron on Sunday, 1 September 2024.

About 9.40pm, a gold Holden Rodeo utility travelling eastbound on Point Peron Road and a white Holden Commodore station wagon travelling westbound on Point Peron Road were involved in a head on collision, about 100 metres west of the Hymus Road intersection.

Both vehicles suffered extensive damage as a result of the crash. Three people aged 17, 18 and 16, were conveyed to hospital by ambulance with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Both drivers were 17-years-old males.

The Holden Rodeo utility had four occupants aged, 17, 18 (two), and 21. The Holden Commodore station wagon had six occupants aged 14, 15, 16 (two), and two 17-year-olds.
