Police investigating a fail to stop crash at Bankstown last month, that left two pedestrians injured, are appealing for information to locate the vehicle involved.
About 5.40am on Saturday 12 January 2019, two women, aged 22 and 25, were walking south on Cottam Avenue, Bankstown.
The women were walking towards Canterbury Road, on the east side of the street, close to parked vehicles, when they were struck by a car travelling south.
After hitting the pedestrians, the vehicle – a white Nissan Tiida missing its front left hubcap – failed to stop, and continued travelling on Cottam Avenue, turning onto Canterbury Road.
Ambulance Paramedics attended and took the two pedestrians to Liverpool Hospital. The younger woman was released a short time later, however the older woman received treatment for a fractured skull.
Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command are urging anyone with information about the vehicle involved to come forward.
