Inquiries are continuing into the death of a woman on a boat in Balmain yesterday.
Emergency services were called to a marina on Roberts Street just after 4pm (Saturday 2 February 2019) after a woman was found unconscious in the bathroom of a charter boat.
The 39-year-old Berowra woman died at the scene.
Officers from the Marine Area Command attended along with Fire & Rescue HAZMAT crews and established a crime scene, which continues to be processed today.
An investigation into the woman’s death is continuing; however, it’s not believed to be suspicious or drug-related.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
