Investigations are underway after a man was shot dead in Sydney’s west today.
Just before 4.30pm (Sunday 11 June 2023), emergency services were called to Factory Street, Granville, following reports of a shooting.
On arrival, officers from Cumberland Police Area Command found a man suffering a gunshot wound.
Despite the efforts of NSW Ambulance paramedics, the man died at the scene. He has not been formally identified but is believed to be aged in his 40s.
A crime scene has been established and investigations underway into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
