Territory Families, Housing and Communities has furthered its commitment to supporting the arts and culture industry through the release of $567,806 in grant funding across two categories.
Arts Industry Development grants open today and close 2pm Monday 7 March 2022. Organisations can apply for:
Accessible Arts grants – up to $30,000 per applicant to new initiatives that increase the capacity, profile and employment of artists with disability, and increase access to the arts for audiences with disability.Succession Planning grants – up to $25,000 per applicant to new initiatives that increase the capacity of organisations and arts and cultural sector to ensure continuity through leadership transition and renewal.
Arts Projects Round 2 grants open 7 February and close 14 March 2022. These grants offer the following funding categories to individuals, groups and organisations:
Presentation and Promotion – up to $20,000 per applicant for projects that present, exhibit, distribute or promote NT arts practice.Skills Development – up to $20,000 for the development of skills, knowledge and experience including building digital (skills) capability.Arts Development – up to $20,000 for the research, development or creation of new art works.Emerging Artists – up to $15,000 for early career artists to develop new work, showcase or upskill.Digital Capability – up to $10,000 for innovative use of technology to reach and engage audiences and develop online communities.
In recognition of all organisations working to advance the Territory’s arts and culture sector, eligibility changes to the Arts and Culture Grants Program now allows not-for profit organisations registered outside the NT to directly apply for grants if they meet specific criteria.
