Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Joondalup on Wednesday, 16 November 2022.
About 8.25am, a blue Mitsubishi Lancer travelling north and a grey Holden Trax travelling south, both on Joondalup Drive, collided at the intersection of Joondalup and Lakeside Drives.
The driver of the Holden, an 80-year-old woman, received serious injuries in the crash and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment. The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 30-year-old man, was not injured.
Investigators are urging anyone who saw the crash, or the Mitsubishi Lancer or Holden Trax travelling in the area prior to the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
