Kalgoorlie Police are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Kanowna (near Kalgoorlie) yesterday, 5 August 2020 in which a motorcycle rider was seriously injured.
About 3.50pm, a black Kawasaki motorcycle collided with a white and red Kenworth road train at the intersection of the Goldfields Highway and Black Flag-Ora Banda Road in Kanowna, approximately 30kms north of Kalgoorlie.
The 32-year-old male rider of the motorcycle received serious injuries and was airlifted by the Royal Flying Doctor Service to Fiona Stanley Hospital for treatment. The road train driver was not injured.
Police urge anyone who saw the crash, or the Kawasaki motorcycle or the road train travelling in the area prior to the crash, or who has dash-cam vision relating to this crash, to come forward.
