Kerbside waste and recycling collections scheduled for this week in Bombala, Cathcart and Delegate are delayed due to mechanical problems with the collection vehicle.
Remaining kerbside waste collection will be completed on Tuesday 28 November 2023, with completion of the remaining kerbside recycling collection to occur on Wednesday 29 November 2023.
Council will notify residents of any further delays.
Please leave your bins out. If high winds occur, bring bins to a sheltered location on your property to prevent litter and damage to lids. Return bins to the street by early morning, once winds have subsided or reduced in intensity.
Council waste facilities are operating as normal, as an alternate option for residents in need of more urgent waste and recycling disposal:
- Cooma Landfill is open between 9.30am and 4pm on both the Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Delegate Transfer Station is open on Tuesday from 9am to 12pm.
- Nimmitabel Transfer Station is open on Wednesday from 9am to 12pm.
