A landslip on Kernot-Krowera Road causing considerable damage has been identified as a result of heavy rainfall over the past few months. This is a significant landslip that is currently unstable, and there are no viable temporary options to keep the road open, therefore the road has been temporarilyclosed for all road users in the interest of public safety.
We are currently undertaking engineering and design work required to stabilise the ground and rectify the landslip. Once the design work has been finalised, rehabilitation works will commence.
