Students from Buxton, Eildon, Middle Kinglake, Yea, Sacred Heart and St Mary’s Primary Schools are getting active as part of Murrindindi Shire Council and VicHealth’s ‘Walk to School’ Program.
‘Walk to School’ kicked off on Monday 7 October and runs until 1 November. And it’s not too late to get involved. VicHealth is running a photo competition as part of the Program and there are some great prizes up for grabs. All you need to do is upload photos of your walk, ride or scoot to school to the ‘Walk to School’ Facebook page. And don’t forget to use the hashtag #walktoschool
So, dust off your walking shoes and get ready to put your best foot forward.
