Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Kronkup on Monday, 21 February 2022.
Around 3.15pm, a white Nissan Almera with three occupants and an orange school bus carrying 24 children (aged 4 to 11 years), collided at the intersection of Lower Denmark Road and Cosy Corner Road.
Six children were conveyed to hospital as a precaution with minor injuries.
A 72-year-old woman who was the front passenger in the Nissan Almera received critical injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Albany Regional Hospital before being airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.
