Labor’s election promises are about to exceed ONE BILLION DOLLARS.
On their own unreliable and underdone figures, Labor’s promises are sitting at $970.1 million.
That’s double the Liberal fully costed, fully funded commitments.
And that’s just the promises Labor has attempted to cost.
On top of that there’s at least another $740 million per annum in its Zombie promises, announced before the campaign began.
Labor has refused to say how it will fund its promises, apart from making ‘savings’.
One billion dollars is a lot of savings.
Of course, Labor plans to raise taxes to pay for its billion dollars of promises.
Ms White tried to bury Labor’s Fiscal Strategy Statement because it doesn’t rule out new taxes.
Only a re-elected majority Liberal Government will not raise taxes.
