Police are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Lake Clifton yesterday afternoon, Tuesday 27 October 2020.
About 2.50pm, a Holden Commodore was travelling north on the Forrest Highway when approximately 650m north of Old Coast Road, the driver lost control of the vehicle. The Commodore left the road, travelled up an embankment before hitting thick scrub causing it to roll over.
The 32-year-old male driver of the Commodore received serious injuries and was airlifted by the RAC Rescue helicopter to Royal Perth Hospital.
A 29-year-old female passenger in the vehicle also received serious injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the Holden Commodore travelling in the area prior to the crash.
