More than 50 exhibitors and 3000 attendees descended on Eildon for the Lake Eildon Boating and Fishing Show – the Boating Industry Association of Victoria’s first regional event – held on 11, 12 and 13 October.
Murrindindi Shire Council’s Eildon Ward Councillor, Jackie Ashe said Council was thrilled to support the Lake Eildon Boating and Fishing Show and would like to thank all the partners, sponsors and volunteers who helped bring the event to life.
“It was a sensational weekend in its own right, and what we can take away from it is that if we work together, we can showcase Murrindindi Shire as the home of recreational fishing, boating and water sports,” Cr Ashe said.
“Fingers crossed that we’ll be welcoming the Boating and Fishing Show back to Lake Eildon in the future,” Cr Ashe added.
