Cannington Detectives are investigating incidents in Langford early this morning, 19 August 2020.
Around 1:20am it was reported to police that a man entered a house on Wingrove Road and threatened the male occupant with a firearm. The offender then left the property in a Kia sedan.
Around 3:15am the vehicle was located by police in Lyrebird Way, Langford. The vehicle failed to stop for police and was last seen on Spencer Road near Fremantle Road, Gosnells.
Later in the morning the vehicle was located at a house in Vanda Place, Maddington. Officers from the Tactical Response Group attended and a search warrant was executed at the property. The occupants of the house are currently assisting detectives with their inquiries.
The investigation is ongoing and detectives are appealing for information from the public to locate a man that may have been involved in the incidents.
Police believe these are isolated incidents and that the people involved are known to each other.
