UK based company LapSafe(R) Self-Service Solutions Ltd are making inroads into the Australian Education market by taking their intelligent charging lockers down under. Exhibiting for the first time at EduTECH International Congress & Expo, in June 2019, Denise Crouch, Head of Sales & Marketing is said to be delighted.
LapSafe(R) has already installed the Diplomat(TM)LMS self-service loan lockers at four sites in Australia which include University of Queensland, University of South Australia, CQ University and TAFE SA. TAFE SA is LapSafe(R)’s fourth largest installation globally and is LapSafe(R)’s largest installation in Australia. LapSafe(R) has also recently installed lockers at The Waikato Institute of Technology better known as Wintec in New Zealand.

A recent survey carried out by LapSafe(R) revealed that 75% of students preferred to borrow a laptop for short periods of time (4-6 hours) within the library study areas. 85% of students found the Diplomat(TM)LMS’s user interface intuitive and easy to use.
LapSafe(R) is a British manufacturer who sell and install their products globally. Their self-service charging lockers currently facilitate the loaning of around 13,000 devices per day, making that a whopping 4,7 million loans per year!
