Major Crash Officers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Lesmurdie last night, Friday 10 July 2020.
About 11:40pm a red Nissan Dualis SUV was travelling south-east on Welshpool Road East, near Crystal Brook Road, when it travelled over the central median strip, onto the incorrect side of the road, left the carriageway, struck a tree and caught fire.
The driver (a man aged in his 20s) died at the scene while the passenger (a man aged in his 20s) was conveyed to Fiona Stanley Hospital for treatment of burns.
