Libraries to reopen to public

HJ Daley Library and Ingleburn Library will reopen to the public from Monday 11 October with some restrictions in place in line with the current public health order.

Both libraries will return to regular opening hours and be open for quick visits, computer access and have designated study spaces available for HSC students.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming people back to our libraries so they can rediscover all the great resources that we have but we ask that people remain mindful of the current health advice to ensure the safety of all visitors and staff,” Mayor George Brticevic said.

“This is a great opportunity for HSC students to utilise dedicated study spaces and for anyone who needs access to a computer,” Cr Brticevic said.

“In time, we will be able to fully return to our regular programs and our Our Click and Collect service remains available at all our libraries for those who are not yet fully vaccinated,” he said.

Glenquarie and Eagle Vale libraries and the Campbelltown Visitor Information Centre will reopen on Monday 25 October.

In line with the current public health order, all members of the public aged 16 and over will need to be fully vaccinated to enter the library.

Masks will be mandatory for staff and members of the public visiting the facilities and a COVID screening officer will be located at the entry point of the library.
