Library users are being encouraged to mark its Diamond Anniversary in December by getting involved with a number of special online events and competitions.
Social media competitions include a creative challenge to wish the library happy birthday, a trivia competition, ‘shelfie’ competition including a reader’s shelf or their TBR (to-be-read) pile, online local studies exhibition and a socially-distanced automatic raffle for November book loans.
Mosman Library Service opened in Belmont Road on 1 December 1945 with up to five thousand visits now recorded each week to the Barry O’Keefe Library on Military Road.
