Campaspe Library Service is inviting residents to participate in shaping the future of their community’s libraries by taking part in a survey aimed at informing the development of the 2024 – 2029 Campaspe Library Strategy.

The survey, accessible both online and in-person at all Campaspe libraries, aims to gather valuable insights and feedback from residents about their library usage, preferences, and future aspirations.

Mayor Rob Amos expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, stating, “Our libraries play a crucial role in fostering lifelong learning, promoting literacy, and building strong, connected communities.

“Through this engagement process, Council aims to better understand the diverse needs and interests of our community members, ensuring that future library initiatives are reflective of their priorities.”

In addition to the survey, the library will host a series of “Listen at the Library” sessions, where residents can drop in to share their thoughts, ideas, and concerns directly with renown library consultants, Ian and Jacqui Phillips as well as library staff.

“As we embark on the development of our 2024 – 2029 Library Strategy, we are eager to hear from our residents about how we can continue to enhance and expand our library services to better serve their needs.

“By actively involving residents in the development of our library strategy, we are ensuring that our libraries remain vibrant and responsive to the changing needs of our diverse population,” Mayor Amos added.
