Library set to open

The Swan Hill Regional Library is set to reopen to the public on Monday 22 June.

Swan Hill Rural City Council Libraries Manager, Camille Cullinan said they are excited to finally be reopening the doors to the community again.

“We are delighted to be welcoming the community back into the library.

“To ensure the safety of our customers there will still be restrictions in place for some time.

“From Monday, 22 June up to 50 people can visit the library at a time,” she said.

Ms Cullinan said the library would be open during normal opening hours from 10am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday but the Library will remain closed on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings until after the upcoming school holidays.

“There will be a one hour limit per day for each person using the library and customers staying for longer than 15 minutes will be required to provide the name and phone number.

“Some limitations will be in place on other library services including limitations on computer access, wifi and photocopy and printing services,” she said.

Ms Cullinan said the libraries new click and collect services would still be available for people wanting to pre order books prior to coming into the library.
