The natural world is a vital component of the human experience, providing food, water, air, relaxation and inspiration. Trees are conspicuous ambassadors of the natural world, their lives entwined within the cycles of resources on which we depend. Trees are also conspicuous in our community, bringing beauty, peace, shelter, wildlife and wellbeing. Trees are fundamental to the landscape of Burnside.
Artists are invited to apply to participate in a new exhibition titled ‘Life Among Trees’, being held during the South Australian Nature Festival, 6 – 16 October 2022.
Works will be exhibited during October at the Burnside Civic Centre Atrium Space (located in Customer Service area) and promoted by Pepper Street Arts Centre, City of Burnside, and through the SA Nature Festival.
All selected artworks will be eligible for the People’s Choice Awards. Community voting will determine the winners. Winners will be drawn at the close of the exhibition.
Applications close 5 pm Friday 29 July 2022.
