Kings Park will be transformed into a winter wonderland light spectacular when the global phenomenon ‘Lightscape’ hits Perth in June.
More than 190,000 tickets will go on sale this morning for the breathtaking interactive experience along a 1.8 kilometre trail through the iconic park and botanic gardens.
The six-week extravaganza will have a Western Australian twist, with local artists helping craft the unique light and sound show. The journey will begin beneath tree canopies illuminated in colour, with larger-than-life flowers and dynamic glowing tunnels.
‘Lightscape’ has captivated millions in cities around the world and has only been seen once before in Australia. It made its debut in Melbourne earlier this year to rave reviews, after wowing sell-out audiences in the U.K. and United States.
