Liverpool City Council is holding a number of public forums across the local government area this month to keep residents informed.
Each forum will be presided over by a Liverpool Councillor acting as Chairperson and will cover topics that affect residents, such as how Western Sydney Airport will increase employment and the benefits of the Western Sydney City Deal.
“Community engagement is at the heart of sustainable development,” said Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller.
“Our District Forums are a great way for residents to share their views and have input into plans that directly affect them.
“We have so much going on in our city and these public meetings will bring people up to speed and give them a chance to offer their feedback.
“For example, the Western Sydney City Deal will have many benefits for our residents, including improved transport, more jobs and better infrastructure.”
The forums are based on the district boundaries of Liverpool, such as the Rural District (Badgerys Creek, Bringelly, Kemps Creek), New Release District (Austral, Carnes Hill, Middleton Grange) and Eastern District (Chipping Norton, Moorebank and Holsworthy). The District Forums will be held at the following times:
