Water Police are appealing for public assistance to identify the owner of a kayak (pictured) which was located this afternoon at Scarborough.
Around 4.45pm a white and green kayak was sighted located on the beach near Flinders Parade, Scarborough.
A single paddle was also located inside the kayak.
Any person who may have seen the kayak or has further information is urged to contact police.
