As stated by City of Swan Mayor Kevin Bailey

“The Rural Revegetation Program is a key part of the City’s strategy to conserve and improve our biodiversity.

“We acknowledge that our natural environment is one of our greatest resources, and that’s why we are focussing on building our tree canopy and educating residents about rural land care.”

As stated by Pearce Ward Councillor Patty Jones

“The Rural Revegetation Program is a perennial favourite with residents and it’s easy to understand why.

“Planting native plants provides shade, improves air quality and offers habitat and food for local wildlife. “Not only that, but it adds to the natural beauty of our rural areas.”
