Raptor Squad detectives have charged three men with commercial drug supply after officers located luxury watches and more than $50,000 earlier this week.
In December 2022, officers attached to the State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad commenced an investigation into alleged drug supply in Sydney’s west.
Following investigations, Raptor Squad officers executed two search warrants at Plumpton and Marsden Park about 6am on Thursday (12 January 2023).
During the search warrants, police located and seized two luxury watches, gold jewellery, cocaine, cannabis, MDMA, about $50,000 cash, and electronic devices.
Three men – aged 27, 28 and 29 – were arrested at the homes and were taken to Mt Druitt Police Station.
The 27-year-old man was charged with supply commercial quantity prohibited drug, knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, knowingly direct activities of criminal group, and recklessly deal with proceeds of crime.
The 29-year-old man was charged with supply commercial quantity prohibited drug, knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
Both men were refused bail to appear at Mt Druitt Local Court yesterday (Friday 13 January 2023), where they were formally bail refused to reappear at the same court on Tuesday 24 January 2023.
The 28-year-old man was charged with two counts of supply commercial quantity prohibited drug, and one count of supply prohibited plant.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Mt Druitt Local Court on Wednesday 18 January 2023.
