Making a difference: Nominate someone you know for an ADA Award

The real heroes, the ones who make a significant contribution to their chosen field, are usually not the type of people to sing their own praises.

This applies to dentistry as much as any other profession.

That’s why the ADA is asking you to nominate someone you know who has made/makes a considerable national contribution to furthering dentistry and/or the profession in:

i. a particular field of dentistry or

ii. dentistry as a whole or

iii. the community as a whole.

Past winners have demonstrated a long and distinguished service to dentistry; been key contributors to dental research, leading figures in oral health science, community education and dentistry to disadvantaged groups; role models and mentors for all dentists.

Do you know someone who:

– has made/is making a significant difference in their community

– plays a key role in promoting oral health

– who volunteers their time and energy to working with disadvantages groups, either in Australia or overseas

– plays a pivotal role in the profession, the ADA wants to hear from you.
