A man has been arrested following a robbery earlier tonight at Elizabeth Downs.
Just after 9pm on Thursday 10 January, patrols were called to a hotel on Midway Road after a man armed with a knife threatened staff in the bottle shop and left with an amount of cash. Thankfully no one was physically injured.
Patrols converged on the area and located the suspect a short time later nearby on Marshalsea Road.
He is expected to be charged with aggravated robbery.
