A man has been arrested after a laser was allegedly pointed at the police Air Wing overnight (31 January).
The helicopter was flying above the Geelong area about 3am when the laser was allegedly shone towards it a number of times.
A 32-year-old Winchelsea man was arrested shortly after.
He is expected to be charged with possess/use prohibited weapon, reckless conduct endangering life and interfere with crew member of aircraft, and will be remanded to appear at Geelong Magistrates’ Court today.
