Emergency services were called and located the injured 35-year-old man in a vehicle on Selbourne Street.
He was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.
About 2.45pm the same day, the 38-year-old man attended Westmead Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
