A man has died after falling from a balcony at Putney overnight.
Emergency services were called to a home on McGowan Street, just before 6pm (Saturday 26 January 2019), after reports a man was injured.
The 21-year-old West Ryde man, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition. He has since passed away in hospital.
Police have been told he fell from a three-storey balcony onto the pavement below, near a swimming pool.
Officers from Ryde Police Area Command attended and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
It is not being treated as suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
