A man has died following a parachuting accident in the states west today.
About 12pm (Tuesday 30 January 2024), emergency services were called to Mount Borah Wimborne Road, Wimborne, following reports a man had impacted heavily on the ground.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a man – however; he died at the scene.
Officers attached to Oxley Police District established a crime scene as investigations into the incident continue.
The man’s parachute and equipment have been seized for examination and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner
