A 72-year-old man has died in hospital following a collision in Somerville on Friday, 20 December.
A Kia Cerato and a Toyota Prius collided while travelling along Dandenong-Hastings Road about 11am.
The driver of the Kia, from Somerville, was taken to hospital where he died on 12 January.
The driver of the Toyota, a 55-year-old Crib Point man, was not injured.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and will prepare a report for the coroner.
