Police are investigating a fatal truck rollover near Goulburn.

About 5.20am (Wednesday 13 March 2019), a semi-trailer carrying a generator overturned in the northbound lanes of the Federal Highway, Yarra.

The driver and sole occupant, a 56-year-old ACT man, died at the scene.

Officers from The Hume Police District attended and established a crime scene, which has been forensically examined.

The road has since been reopened.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
