A man has died following a two-vehicle crash on the state’s South Coast today.
About 7.20am (Tuesday 28 July 2020), emergency services were called to Culburra Road, Wollumboola, about 15km south east of Nowra, following reports a 4WD and truck had collided.
The male driver of the 4WD died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.
The truck driver, a man believed to be aged in his 20s, sustained injuries to his arm and has been taken to hospital for treatment and mandatory testing.
Officers from South Coast Police District attended and commenced investigations.
Police are urging motorists to avoid the area and reconsider travel; Culburra Road is currently closed in both directions.
