A man has died after being pulled from Parramatta River.
About 7.10pm Sunday (12 May 2024), emergency services were called to a bridge on Church Street, Parramatta, following reports a man had fallen into the Parramatta River.
Officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command attended and immediately entered the river and pulled the man out of the water before commencing CPR.
He was then treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics however he died at the scene.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
