Investigations have commenced after an alleged stolen vehicle crashed into two men and a number of parked cars in Rosemeadow early this morning.
About 3.30am (Tuesday 2 July 2019), officers will allege a Holden Commodore was stolen from Lorenzo Crescent, Rosemeadow.
The owner of the vehicle heard the car start and got up to check. He saw his car being driven away and woke his father and brother to assist.
The three men got into another vehicle and followed the stolen Commodore, before it stopped in a nearby street, with the men then approaching on foot.
As they attempted to detain the driver; he allegedly accelerated and hit two of the men, who sustained minor injuries.
The Commodore then hit a retaining wall and a number of parked cars before the older man detained the driver and awaited police.
Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command arrived a short time later and arrested the driver.
He was taken to Campbelltown Hospital for treatment.
A crime scene has been established at the scene and investigations are underway.
