Man missing from Blue Mountains 12 April

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Blue Mountains.

Michael Morrell, aged 48, was last seen about 7pm yesterday (Tuesday 11 April 2023) outside Parramatta Railway Station.

When he could not be located, officers attached to Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare as he lives with a medical condition and is non-verbal.

Michael is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of slim build, with short dark hair and a scruffy dark beard.

He was last seen wearing blue tracksuit pants, a red jumper, blue rain jacket, brown leather shoes, and carrying a red and white Coles shopping bag.

Michael is known to frequent Katoomba, The Rocks, Darling Harbour, Coogee and Marrickville.
