A man missing in the Wollongong area has been located.
The 63-year-old man was last seen at a home on Woodlawn Avenue, Mangerton, and is believed to have left about 3.30am today (Thursday 24 August 2023).
Officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified and commenced a search of the area with the assistance of Police Rescue and the Dog Unit.
Following a public appeal and geo-tarted sms in the area, the man was located in Coniston just before 8am.
Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.
