A man has been reported after a fire at Clarendon today.
Police will allege that just before 12.30pm today (Friday 17 January), police and fire crews were called to an area near St Ninians Road, after reports of a large grass fire.
Fire crews took several hours to extinguish the blaze, and there were no reports of any serious injuries. A shed on Potter Road containing firewood was extensively damaged, along with some machinery.
A 45-year-old Clarendon man was reported for causing a bushfire, after he allegedly used an angle grinder on his property, which is believed to have started the fire.
He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
